Summer is in full swing here in Portugal. Here on the Silver Coast, where we live, colorful striped cabanas have gone up, people are spilling out on sidewalk cafes and gelato shops, and the sunsets are so beautiful we have stopped the car to take a photo. You can almost feel the collective sigh of relief. Ah, summer.
