When we moved to Portugal from the U.S. last year a lot of people asked us:

• Why Portugal?

• Did we consider other countries?

• What process did we use to decide?

• What made Portugal the best decision for us?

The answer is that we did consider four countries: Portugal, Italy, Spain and France. We had spent time in all four countries, and there were many things we loved about each place.
