One of the questions we are asked most often is about rental costs on the Silver Coast. And we get it. Before we moved to, or even visited, the Silver Coast of Portugal we spent countless hours on websites like Idealista looking at property for rent and to buy. 

But before we visited, we had no idea what any of the pricing meant. 1000€ per month in someplace called Caldas da Rainha? Is that good? 3,000€ per month in Vau? Is that worth it? Why? We had no context for the pricing we saw online. 

If you’ve ever researched homes for rent on the Silver Coast you may have felt the same way. So in our latest video we’re sharing 10 homes for rent on the Silver Coast for every budget (from 1,000€ per month to top-of-the-market luxury). In this video, we’re sharing our thoughts on each home based on the area.

Recently we spent a long weekend in Amsterdam. I am embarrassed to tell you how much I did not know about The Netherlands or its history before that trip. 

But if there is one thing I do know, it’s how to find a bargain. In this video we hit flea markets, vintage shops, and thrift stores in search of some home decor. Bargain shopping is always hit or miss and Amsterdam was no exception. We posted a video with some of our favorite spots for bargain shopping, great food, and sightseeing.
